We are in our new place! We were in a Duplex on Canaveral Dr. 4 bedrooms and three baths. Our stuff was everywhere but we still had smiles on our faces!
We took a break from unpacking and went to check out the University of Missouri campus! Dad's new school! The campus was very pretty.

Our first MU sporting event was a free scrimmage volley ball game! Aspen is wearing her Mizzou gear from the Allred family. Uncle Dave went to Mizzou!

We made a trip to the St. Louis Zoo with some ward friends after attending the temple there. This zoo was really great and even free!
Mom and Aspen spend go to the Daniel Boone Library often. There are so many fun things to do there. Aspen really started getting into books at this age. She liked the interactive books that had flaps or things she could feel. We would check out lots of those while we were at the library!
Mommy and Aspen miss daddy sometimes and will send pictures of themselves to Daddy.
Fun weekend at the Columbia Heritage festival. We walked through some old buildings and homes, free popcorn, live bagpipe bands, and great food!

The Kitchen family in our ward watched Aspen while Mom and Dad raced the Roots n Blues 10k! they each took second place and 300 dollars each! Mom also found out she was pregnant with baby Hazel two days before the race!

This is us at the ward trunk-or-treat! Dad went to Cedar City for the conference championships for Halloween so Mom and Aspen celebrated together.
The family went on a mini church history tour with a small stake group.

Going back to Halloween.. Dad visited Leslie's grave and attended a SUU football game while he was in Cedar City.

Mom and Dad went to a BYU vs MU football game at the Kansas City Stadium! It was lots of fun. Some of Mom's young women watched Aspen at home.

We took a trip to Louisville, KY to watch the D1 Cross-Country Nationals. SUU made it again this year so we decided to make the 5ish hour drive to watch! It was a cold day. We saw some fellow alumni and had lunch with them after the race.
We visited the temple there the Sunday after the race. We went to church that morning and saw some fellow Cedar City Young Married Ward people. Driving to the temple from our hotel was so beautiful. We felt the spirit so strong.
Aspen was a real joy this trip. We had a lot of fun spending time together as a family.
On the following Monday, we took time to visit some places downtown Louisville.
We visited the science center there. Aspen loved the mirror maze and water toy.

Louisville has lots of underground caves. There is even a zip-line underground! We decided to go see the Christmas lights in the cave. They were so cool!
After our trip it was time to get ready for Thanksgiving! We were having our friends from Illinois, Devan and Clair Antczak over. They stayed at our house for a few days. Devan ran at SUU with Mom and Dad.

All December long Aspen wanted to play with the stockings. They were hung on our wall. So naturally that was the first thing she went for.
We went for a family run came home to a warm and crackling "fire." Then we had breakfast. We didn't open presents until after Aspen's first nap.
Santa got her some Mega Blocks! She loved taking down the towers that Dad built.
Aspens haul. She received the "MOO" book from Nana and Papa. Grandma and Grandpa waited until we visited Utah to give Aspen her Christmas present.
