It was our families first time cheering on the Red Sox in the 2013 baseball season. Nate has been a fan since living in Massachusetts but I married into being a fan. The Sox made it to the World Series this year and we had so much fun watching! Since we don't have a TV, we called our friend who is the student body president of SUU to open up the student government room to watch the games. We also had dinner at our friends and watched a few games.
Getting cozy in with the Boston blanket and Nate decked out in his jersey and hat and we are ready to cheer them on!
When times were tough Nate rallied his cap and sipped his soda for good luck. It must have worked because the Boston Red Sox won the World Series this year! It was a good time to become a fan (for me at least).
I graduated this year (December of 2013) with a Bachelors in Biology/Zoology! College was such a great learning experience in and out of the classroom. I am grateful to SUU for the great education. SUU only does one ceremony a year in May. I plan on walking then (if i'm not having Leslie), but I wanted to get some pictures done before.
Some of the things that I did/studied during my three and a half years at SUU.
I came home after taking my last final to a rose, chocolates and a sweet card from Nate. He is awesome and creative! We didn't have a vase so the rose is in our cookie jar. Love it.

It was finally time to celebrate. A little graduation party was thrown mom(west) and family attended.
yay!
Nate took me to Park City, Utah to go on a little shopping spree and to hang out as a little graduation get-away. We didn't stay long but enjoyed every minute. I got a few maternity clothes which were becoming much needed as my pants were becoming uncomfortable with the baby belly growing.
Nate also benefited from our little shopping trip! Enough shoes to last him the rest of college running! The shoes that Nate likes to run in were on a super good sale so we decided that it would be easier to buy all the shoes he would need till the end of college, now!
Christmas!! We spent Christmas eve and day at mom and dad (Jewkes) house this year! I was so fun:)
From mom and dad (Jewkes) we got a camping stove and lantern. Great for camping and emergency preparedness.
From mom and dad (West) Nate got a nice Boston Red Sox hat, I got a blanket and some maternity shirts. They also gave us a Cafe Rio' gift card.
From sibling gifts (Nikki and Erik) I got a Boston Hat and Nate got some pencil lead that should last him for forever! We were pumped:)
We got treats, gift cards, and more treats from grandmas.
Leslie got a fun book from grandma and grandpa Jewkes and some Minni-Mouse pens from Issac. She got a baby Red Sox hat from grandma and grandpa West.
Nate saved and saved to get himself a nice mountain bike! Dad(west) helped him get it and fix it up a bit. Nate is so excited! Too bad it is winter and all the trails are covered in snow!
