Mommy was getting really lonely having Daddy leaving so much for track trips. Dad asked Coach Houle if Mom and Aspen could tag along with the team to the Outdoor Conference Championships in Spokane, WA! Here we are on the bus bright and early!
Daddy and Aspen at the Vegas airport!
Aspen did great on her first flight!
We had a layover and it was really busy and noisy. Aspen got a little overwhelmed so we put a blanket over her and put her binky in to calm her down!
She loved it on the plane though.
Coach let Mommy and Aspen room in with Daddy! Mom couldn't believe it. Aspen got to sleep on her own bed!
Eating Ethiopian food with the team.
The hotel was located next to this beautiful park.
Those legs are so cute.

Back at the Airport and playing with Daddy. The trip was a great success and so much fun.
Mommy was in a magazine for sharing her story about being a mother to Leslie and Aspen. Her photographer was asked to photograph an inspiring mother and she chose Mom!
Daddy was also in a magazine for SUU sports!
Grad photos on SUU campus! What a hansom graduate!
The Science building where most of Nate's classes were.
This picture was at the desk where he did a lot of his homework.
Outside our apartment we had a little bush that Aspen liked to play with. She LOVES being outside.
So special seeing Nate be such a great Dad.
Four months and here comes some "yummy" rice cereal.
Already wants to feed herself.
Aspen often would raise her arm in a fist when she ate. We aren't sure why she did this, but it was cute.
Family visit to Leslie's grave on memorial day.
Fishing up Cedar Canyon.
Hanging out with Grandpa West. Mommy often times would go up north to the Grandparents homes when Daddy was on long track trips.
Thanksgiving point with the Bardin family.
Killing time at Grandparent West house.
Driving back home to Cedar City. It was tough driving so much with a baby by herself. Mommy would often times make stops to feed Aspen or to take a break.
Soaking up our last moments in Cedar City! Just enjoyed ourselves some Tiki Shack snow cones.
Daddy is great at accidentally taking eating selfies.
Another fishing trip. Aspen loved walking around in the water.
Cute kid.
Mommy would like to bike next to Daddy while he ran.
Daddy's LAST race as a college athlete. National Championship Track and Field. He participated in the 10k and place 14th! It was a stacked year. A bittersweet moment for sure.
Mommy and Aspen did some more riding to pass the time.
Aspen started getting just enough hair to put a bow in.
Dad at nationals.
Silly pictures. Aspen has discovered her tongue and it is hilarious.
Daddy and most of his college awards! Whew!
Nana came down to Cedar to help us pack up all our stuff and then took Aspen home with her so we could do more packing. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed their last Cedar City sunset together before saying a difficult goodbye.
One last stop to Leslie's grave. We will never forget you big sister.
